AudioWerk2/8

Reliability & compatibility. PCI digital audio recording with the warmest sounding cards in the business.
One Audiowerk2 for mastering or internal mixing. One, two or three Audiowerk8 for additional mixing with an external console.

All Audiowerk cards can use either 2 analog or 2 digital inputs.
Audiowerk2 allows you to use the analog and digital outputs simultaneously and independently.
The digital output of Audiowerk8 cards is always parallel to the first analog output pair (can be used simultaneously but not independently).
Stacked systems must be wordclock synchronized between the cards via digital I/O. Therefore, the number of digital I/O's remains two (first card's input and last card's output).
The number of tracks doesn't depend on the number of cards, even one Audiowerk2 allows up to 32 stereo tracks with Logic Audio Platinum, 24 tracks are available with Logic Audio Gold and up to 16 tracks with Logic Audio Silver.
