This is one of those vintage 80's OEM made in Japan echo/delay units that were badged in several varieties - Stage (Univox) DE-1, Melos DE-1, Evans Echopet, Audiotek EC-555, Maplin Echorder E44, etc).
The max delay time is ~200ms possibly slightly longer.
It has that typical warm analog BBD delay sound
