wireless AC was introduced in (June 2013) on macs + (Sep 2014) on iphones

the first model to include AC wi-fi capability for the iphone was the iphone 6
for the macs i believe it may have been the macBook Air mid-2013 model that first
introduced AC wi-fi capability to Mac Computers (Laptops + Desktops)

the mid-2013 macBookAir was released on June 10, 2013
and the Iphone 6 was released on September 12, 2014.
