Tracktion Software - Tracktion v5
« on: October 16, 2023, 08:31:04 PM »
As I must (Win98FE WDM/DX/DXi bug) I use KernelEx. So, this in untested without the use of KernelEx.
I am running in XP compatibility mode, with Advanced option "Don't use these settings in child processes".

For me, ASIO4All did not work with Tracktion. Could be my internal audio chip, ASIO4ALL, or that I'm running it on Win98FE. ASIO4ALL works with most XP era (and newer) software, while running with Kernelex and Win98FE. I've also had problems with Synapse Audio - Orion v7.5. But, as with Orion, my USB ASIO driver works fine with it.

DirectSound also works fine. I had it down to 512 samples, and it seemed okay. I didn't try a lower samples setting.

I didn't run into any problems. Everything, other than ASIO4ALL, seemed to work fine.
