SMF files (zero format only) are stored on SmartMedia Cards (8 - 128 MB).
Runs on 4 AA batteries (1.2 - 1.5 V) and/or 9-12 V DC mains adapter.

This compact device was only distributed in Japan (japanese only manuals).
